Antoinette Wilson

Antoinette Wilson graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a specialization in Graphic Design. She worked in many areas of publications including newspapers, books, magazines, from HarperCollins, where she designed books, to Time magazine. She also loved using her creativity to bless others by designing programs, invitations, bulletins and various marketing pieces, etc., for weddings, special events and churches. Antoinette and her husband, David, relocated from Brooklyn, NY to Fairfax, VA in 2003, where she worked as a Production Coordinator at AARP in Washington, DC. They quickly planted roots in Montclair, VA where they resided for 14 years. It was during this time that Antoinette confirmed her love of wedding/event planning. This allowed her an opportunity to work from home to be readily available to her daughters, McKayla and Samantha. Her passion of working with young girls blossomed and opened the door for her to make a difference in her community through Girl Scouts, her daughters’ schools’ PTCO and substitute teaching. In the summer of 2017, the Wilsons relocated to Midlothian, VA. For the past 3 years, Antoinette has been building her business, Antoinette’s Faith and Beauty, where she helps women grow in confidence through skin care and cosmetics. Antoinette looks forward to sharing her love of art with us. “Art has the role in education of helping children become like themselves instead of more like everyone else.” -Sydney Gurewitz Clemens
